• The damping material is not glued on, but mounted directly onto the underside of the drum head and varies in thickness and width, depending on the head diameter

• Via individual attenuation, the new EC2S drum heads have more tone, sustain and a crisp attack

• Another major advantage of the new EC2S is a greater tuning- and dynamic range
