• The Electrolin has a soundpost, a bass bar and a light and relatively elastic bridge
• Assembly of the wood and aluminium parts with high-tech epoxy glue
• Ebony fingerboard
• Ebony pegs
• Fine tuning tailpiece
• Sound pickup via 3 strategically placed PDVF foil pickups
• 6.3 mm mono jack socket as output
• The 5-string Elektrolin is characterised by conventional violin measurements and dimensions
• Asymmetrical in order to accommodate the lower frequencies of the C-string through an increased vibrating surface on the bass side
• Due to model and arching design, the overall sound is somewhat "bassier" than that of the 4-string Electrolin, which has a more mid-range, brighter spectrum
• The neck of the 5-string Electrolin is slightly wider than a conventional violin neck and the strings are slightly closer together for maximum playing comfort and intonation.
